Architects of Air Luminaria
“An immersive art experience in which light, sound and architectural form combine.” — Sunday Times
Insite Arts continue to tour the Architects of Air’s luminaria. Previous installations have included Mirazozo (at the Sydney Opera House HERE), Amococo and Levity III.
The luminaria are large scale, inflatable sculptures constructed of translucent vinyl and made up of labyrinthine tunnels and inspiring spacious domes. A world of liquid light and colour, they offer a multi-sensory space that welcomes, inspires everyone who enters. Under the direction of Alan Parkinson, Architects of Air have designed and constructed 15 luminarium which have toured the globe, being experienced by audiences at over 500 exhibitions in 37 countries.
