In the U.S., cats and dogs cause 25-30% of the environmental impact of meat consumption in the country. The nation's 163 million cats and dogs eat as much food as all the people in France. While the mental health benefits of an emotional support dog are unquestionable, what lengths will people go to prolong their companion’s life? And once you’ve fallen in love with your own fur baby, are you going to stop asking questions about the huge environmental impact pets have, the huge cost to our society, and the problems that arise when people care more about their dog than they do for a fellow human?

The Dog Show will explore humans obsession with their best friend and examine the murky evolution from an occasional companion around a campfire to pseudo offspring; flying business class to Italy with you after starring in a series of world famous TikTok videos.

The company ethos is to search for humour in the serious, and find significance in the ridiculous, all to challenge our world’s seeming certainties. isthisyours? was formed in 2007 by Tessa Leong, Ellen Steele, Nadia Rossi, Louisa Mignone, and Jude Henshall.
