Freya Waterson
Associate Producer & Administrator
Freya has worked with a number of Australian and international festivals, artists and arts organisations in a variety of roles including as Administrator for the Come Out and Melbourne Fringe Festivals, as a venue producer during the Adelaide Fringe Festival and as Convenor of the successful 2008 Australian Circus and Physical Theatre Conference. She has also worked for Melbourne Workers Theatre and the City of Melbourne’s Arts House, and coordinated and edited publications for Melbourne Food and Wine, amongst others.
Internationally, Freya has worked with the Edinburgh Fringe; the London Film Festival; critically acclaimed Edinburgh venue, Aurora Nova; Sheffield Doc/Fest and for London-based pervasive and social games producer, Hide&Seek.
For Insite Arts, she has produced performance seasons for Rawcus, The Harry Harlow Project and worked on MONA FOMA 2011 and 2012 and the celebrations around the opening of Hobart’s MONA.
She is currently producing the international and national touring of Fleur Elise Noble’s 2 Dimensional Life of Her and with her latest work in development, The Drawing Project; Tristan Meecham’s FUN RUN and his work in development, FIGHT DANCE FIGHT and Tamara Saulwick’s Pin Drop.
